Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 25 July 2026 · Last updated: 25 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone using Acreate and forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the Service safe, legal, and useful for the educators, tutors and families who rely on it.
1. Uploading and inputting content
When you enter a topic, custom instructions, or upload a reference file (PDF or photo) to be cloned into a new worksheet, you must:
- Only upload content you have the right to share. Don't upload copyrighted material you don't have permission to use, or another person's personal information (for example, a student's name, handwriting, or identifiable photo on a submitted worksheet) unless you're authorised to share it with us for the purpose of generating a new worksheet.
- Avoid including sensitive personal information (health, disability, or other sensitive details about a student or any other person) in topics, instructions, or uploads.
- Not upload unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content, including anything that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activity.
2. Using the AI features responsibly
- Review generated content before use. AI-generated worksheets and answer keys may contain errors — always check accuracy and suitability for your students before use, as set out in our Terms of Service.
- Don't use Acreate to generate content for a purpose other than education — for example, to generate deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful material by exploiting the worksheet-generation format.
- Don't try to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI models or prompts, or use automated means to send an excessive volume of requests that could degrade the Service for others.
3. Account and platform integrity
- Don't share your account credentials or let someone else use your account in a way that circumvents plan limits.
- Don't attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts or data, or our systems.
- Don't scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Service other than your own content, or interfere with the Service's normal operation (for example, through excessive automated requests, denial-of-service attempts, or bypassing rate limits).
- Don't use the Service to build a competing product without our written permission.
4. Generated worksheets are a teaching aid, not a substitute for assessment integrity
Acreate is designed to help you prepare teaching materials faster. Generated content, including answer keys, should not be treated as an authoritative or sole basis for formal student assessment, grading decisions, or academic integrity determinations without your own professional review.
5. Enforcement
Breaching this policy is a breach of our Terms of Service and may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or termination of your account, depending on the severity and whether it's a repeat issue. We may also be required to disclose information to law enforcement or regulators where the law requires it.
6. Reporting a concern
If you become aware of misuse of the Service, please contact us at support@acreate.com.au.
